The developer team of WhatsApp continues to work tirelessly on improving this popular multiplatform instant messaging service, introducing new functions and more or less relevant graphic changes and solving bugs encountered by users, all with the aim of guaranteeing them an experience that is increasingly pleasant and full of customization possibilities.

And so in the last few hours, as a result of this incessant work, the release of a new version has arrived beta of the application dedicated to Android-based devices: we are talking about the version 2.25.30.12.

More news for the groups in WhatsApp Beta

In recent weeks it has emerged that the developers are working to implement the possibility for users to send notifications to all members in large groups and, at the same time, a system to silence all mentions in the groups.

At the moment this new system is still being optimized and thanks to version 2.25.30.12 beta for Android we discover that the developers have thought of a solution that limits the functioning of mentions in large group chats.

The team of WhatsApp is defining specific rules for the use of the mention of all members depending on the size of the group: in smaller ones each participant will have the freedom to tag all members (so as to maintain a sense of collaboration and ensure that important updates are not missed) while inthe largest ones (with more than 2 members) only the administrators will be able to use the mention for everyone (this is to avoid the overload of messages and keep the discussions more focused).

At the moment it is not known when this innovation will be implemented for all users.
