OPPO presented the new flagship Android smartphones on the home market OPPO Find X9 And Find X9 Procharacterized by a profoundly revised deisng, by the presence of the SoC Dimensity 9500 by MediaTek and by an enhanced photographic department created as usual in collaboration with HASSELBLAD. Before discovering all the details of the two models, including prices for the Chinese market and a pre-launch promo already active in Italy (awaiting the global launch on October 28th), we report the words of Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer from OPPO:

OPPO Find X9
Let’s start from the “compact” model of the range, namely OPPO Find X9, a smartphone that offers a completely revised design compared to its predecessor (which never arrived in our area), even if the IP66/IP68/IP69 certifications remain.
First of all, the large circular porthole at the rear disappears, replaced by a square island that protrudes from the body and is located at the top left. The so-called Alert Slider is replaced by a button. The frame is made of aluminum with a matte finish, while the back is made of glass with a matte finish.
At the front shines a panel OLED from 6.59 inches well defined and surrounded by symmetrical and super thin frames (just 1.15 mm per side). There is no shortage of refresh rate 120Hzhigh frequency PWM Dimming, excellent peak brightness 3,600 nits and the ability to get down to 1 nit. The fingerprint reader is ultrasonic (on the previous model it was optical).
The front camera, set inside a circular and centered hole, is from 32 megapixels. Let’s stay on the photographic section but let’s move to the back. OPPO Find X9 offers a triple photographic compartment called HASSELBLAD Master Camera Systempowered by LUMO Image Engine by OPPO which brings optimizations to the computational photography field. We also have notable performances on the video recording front: OPPO Find X9 is capable of record videos up to 4K @ 120 fps with DolbyVisionsupports recording in LOG format (with ACES support). There are also optimizations such as Stage Mode And AI Sound Focus which further improve photos and videos, even during concerts.
As for the battery, the smartphone integrates a silicon-carbon unit 7,025 mAh (we’re talking about 1,400 mAh more than the predecessor); we also have support for wired fast charging 80Wto wireless charging a 50W and to reverse wireless charging a 10W.
At the beginning we talked about the fact that both smartphones revolve around the SoC MediaTek Dimensity 9500flanked by 12 or 16 GB of RAM memory (LPDDR5X) and from 256/512GB or 1TB (UFS 4.1) storage space. The SoC brings with it a truly complete connectivity section that includes WiFi 7 And Bluetooth 6.0 on both models.
Another element in common between the two smartphones is the operating system: we have the most recent version of ColorOS, namely ColorOS 16 announced yesterday, with the promise of five years of updates.
Based on Android 16, it integrates many new features, both to “harmonize” the user experience (like the new Seamless Animation And Luminous Rendering Engine) and to improve productivity and creativity thanks to artificial intelligence, proprietary and otherwise (we have integration with Google’s Gemini).

OPPO Find X9 Pro
Most of the things we said for the “compact” model can also be extended to the flagship model, namely OPPO Find X9 Pro: compared to the direct predecessor, which arrived in Italy unlike the basic model, it says goodbye to the rounded edges to make room for a brick-like design.
Growing in size compared to Find X9, OPPO Find X9 Pro inevitably boasts a larger panel, in this case 6.78 inchessurrounded again by super thin and symmetrical (1.15mm) bezels.
While sharing charging technologies with its younger brother, the Pro model gains a larger battery 7,500 mAh (against the 5,910 mAh of the predecessor, with an increase of almost 1,600 mAh).
The main difference between the two smartphones, however, lies in the photographic sector and goes beyond the front camera, in this case from 50 megapixels and not 32, affecting two of the three sensors that make up the main compartment.
