vivo has officially presented the new flagship smartphones on the home market vivo X300 And X300 Pro. Both revolve around the very recent (and powerful) SoC Dimensity 9500 by MediaTek, combined with the chip V3+ from the Chinese manufacturer for photography capabilities.
Photography is one of the areas on which the two smartphones focus a lot, thanks to top-level sensors and close collaboration with ZEISS. In addition to the two smartphones, the Chinese manufacturer also presented the economical but powerful tablet live Pad5e. Let’s find out all the details, including the prices of the three devices for the home market.

vivo X300
Let’s start with the vivo X300, the “base” model of the Chinese manufacturer’s new flagship range. It is a compact smartphone, often barely 8 mmwhich offers a panel LTPO AMOLED 8T from 6.31 inches with resolution 1,216 x 2,640 pixels (in 19.5:9), adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 HzPWM Dimming a 2160 Hz And peak brightness at 4,500 nits.
Below the display, surrounded by fairly thin and symmetrical frames, there is a hidden ultrasonic reader of fingerprints. In the upper part, inside a circular and centered hole, there is a 50 megapixel front camera with sensor Samsung JN1.
Let’s stay on the photographic section but let’s move to the rear where, inside a generous circular porthole, we find the three sensors which make up the main photographic sector, co-engineered with ZEISS (which provides the optics and technologies such as T* lens coating):
- Main sensor (23mm equivalent) – Samsung HPB
- Dimensions: 1/1.4″
- Resolution: 200 megapixels
- Opening: f/1.68
- Pixel Size: 0.56 µm
- PDAF
- OIS
- Periscope telephoto lens (70mm equivalent) – Sony LYT-602 APO
- Dimensions: 1/1.95″
- Resolution: 50 megapixels
- Opening: f/2.6
- Pixel Size: 0.8 µm
- Optical zoom 3x
- Telemacro 2.7:1
- Multi-directional PDAF
- OIS
- Ultra-wide sensor (15mm equivalent) – Samsung JN1
- Dimensions: 1/2.76″
- Resolution: 50 megapixels
- Opening f/2.0
- Pixel Size: 0.64 µm
- Field of view: 119°
- AF
Going further, vivo X300 offers a very complete set-up also with regards to the connectivity sector: we have WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared blaster, GPS dual-band and one port USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1). There is thestereo sound.
Despite overall compact dimensions and an acceptable weight (thanks to the use of glass and aluminum as materials), the smartphone integrates a drums al silicon-carbon and lithium ions from 6,040 mAh; we find support for wired charging a 90W and wireless charging a 40 W.
The operating system closes the package OriginOS 6freshly announced, based on Android 16 and the promise of software support that it provides up to four Android updates (theoretically support should reach up to Android 20).

vivo X300 Pro
vivo X300 Pro it roughly repeats everything we have just seen on the vivo X300 in the “zoom” version: size and weight increase, the display becomes larger, the battery becomes more capacious. The main photographic sector changes (for the better). Let’s get things in order.
While maintaining practically the same design and the same materials, i.e. glass (front and back) and aluminum alloy, the Pro model offers users a panel LTPO AMOLED 8T from 6.78 inches which has the exact same specifications, except for a higher resolution.
The battery, however, goes from 6,040 mAh to 6,510 mAh maintaining the silicon-carbon and lithium-ion technology. Nothing changes regarding the charging technology: in this case too we have 90W via cable and 40W wireless.
vivo X300 Pro raises the bar on the front of the main photographic compartment, also co-engineered in this case with ZEISS, and this can also be seen simply from the fact that the large circular porthole, in this case surrounded by a knurled texture, protrudes more and more clearly from the body. This is the set-up:
- Main sensor (24mm equivalent) – Sony LYT-828
- Dimensions: 1/1.28″
- Resolution: 50 megapixels
- Opening: f/1.6
- Pixel Size: 1.22 µm
- PDAF
- OIS
- Periscope telephoto lens (85mm equivalent) – Samsung HPB
- Dimensions: 1/1.4″
- Resolution: 200 megapixels
- Opening: f/1.4
- Pixel Size: 0.56 µm
- Optical zoom 3.7x
- Telemacro 2.7:1
- Multi-directional PDAF
- OIS
- Ultra-wide sensor (15mm equivalent) – Samsung JN1
- Dimensions: 1/2.76″
- Resolution: 50 megapixels
- Opening f/2.0
- Pixel Size: 0.64 µm
- Field of view: 119°
- AF
From the point of view of video recording, unlike the “basic” model, the X300 Pro is able to go up to8K @ 30 fps and supports Dolby Vision HDR And 10-bit Log until 4K@120fps.

I live Pad5e
In addition to the two smartphones of the X300 series, vivo also presented the new one I live Pad5ea solution that represents the “economical” model of the Pad5 range but which is still configured as a very interesting tablet from a hardware point of view.
It revolves around the SoC Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 by Qualcomm, paired with up to 16 GB of RAM memory e 512GB of storage space, held at bay by an advanced graphite heat dissipation structure that spans a 32,200 mm area2which is a large part of the surface of the device.
This measure ensures that the device does not disappoint even gaming enthusiasts who will be able to enjoy their content for a long time, thanks also to the presence of a 10,000 mAh battery (which supports 44W wired charging), using the panel IPS LCD from 12.1 inches to 144 Hz and thestereo sound which comes out of four speakers (two per side on the “short” sides).
For the rest, I live Pad5e it is a tablet with very clean lines, made with an aluminum unibody frame and a glass front. At the rear, inside a circular porthole, we find a single camera 8 megapixelsuseful for scanning documents. On the front there is a camera 5 megapixel, enough for video calls.
The package ends with a connectivity sector that focuses on the matter, not by offering support for mobile networks but by offering WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 And USB-C (with USB 3.2 Gen1 support), and the operating system OriginOS 5 HD based on Android 15.
