The device – smaller and compact version of the 3 standard monitor – has updated features and an even more minimalist structure: it is equipped with a 62.6 x 53.2 mm LCD display and weighs only 30 grams.
As regards its operation, The device uses a high precision sensor Swiss Sensirion To detect temperature variations up to 0.1 ° C and humidity (1% RH). The data are updated every 6 seconds and both values are displayed simultaneously.

Users are also allowed to connect the device to the Xiaomi Home app through a Bluetooth Mesh gateway, sold separately. Once connected, it can activate intelligent devices such as fans or humidifiers on the basis of preset temperature and humidity data detected through the device.
Finally, remember that the device is able to store the data locally for 3 months and in the cloud for 6 months. In standard mode, the data is sent to the gateway every 1-5 minutes. In battery saving mode, updates are instead performed every 3-13 minutes.
Very easy its positioning: it can be placed on a surface using the support included or can be mounted on the wall using a simple double -sided. To make the use even more comfortable and immediate, the presence of small icons with facial expressions on the screen that indicates whether or not the monitored climate is ideal for the health of the occupants.
Made of ABS plastic, it supports Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 and works with temperature range between 0 ° C and 60 ° C, and in the humidity range between 0% RH and 99% RH.

Even if the device is present on the Xiaomi’s global website, for the moment the sales dates have not yet been confirmed: it can however confirm here the interest in the purchase and ask to be notified as soon as available.
