Those who buy a Samsung smartphone often do it also for software support that the Korean giant is able to guarantee users and which translates into updates issued with great constancy and for a long time and in exclusive functionality.
At present, the Samsung developers team is engaged in the optimization of One UI 8the new version of the personalized interface of the company based on Android 16which during the summer should begin to spread among the devices of this manufacturer.
Discovered a novelty of One UI 8
Compared to One UI 7, the next version of Samsung’s interface will represent a less relevant update regarding functional innovations even if, of course, there will be some additions, such as Running Coach.
Just as its own name suggests, it is a functionality designed to allow users to rely on an assistant who is able to determine their current physical form level and provide a personalized training plan on the basis of what are their parameters, in order to help them make the most of their running sessions.
Samsung has been developing some features dedicated to runners for years, supporting training monitoring and guaranteeing more precise surveys on data such as VO2 Max and sweat loss.
Running Coach will invite users to start with a test that consists in running as far as possible in 12 minutes and, based on the data obtained from this exercise, it will develop a personalized training plan.
The system conceived by Samsung will therefore evaluate the various workouts, so as to prevent users from pushing too much and risk getting injured and, through the analysis of the data on the cardiac frequency in real time provided by a Samsung Galaxy Watch, will evaluate the intensity of the exercise, in order to guarantee a safe and efficient training. This support will be provided for the duration of the race, so that the experience is similar to that of having a coach by his side.
One UI 8 should make its debut on new generation Samsung folding smartphones already in July. We will see.
