Good news for customers CoopVoce: The 5g will arrive by the end of 2025. To officially confirm this is Gabriele Tubertini, director of the subsidiaries of Coop Italia, protagonist of an interview published on the magazine “Consumers“

CoopVoce confirms the arrival of 5G by the end of the year

CoopVoce is the first virtual operator launched in Italy (it is operational from 1 June 2007 as Esp Mvno) and is currently one of the most popular, especially among Coop members. It has always focused on low prices, good coverage (which in recent times has been entrusted not only to TIM, but also to Vodafone, depending on the areas) and transparency, without unexpected increases or hidden costs. This certainly helped to conquer the approximately 2.2 million customers, with continuous growth.

At present CoopVoce provides a 4G LTE connectivity, but for a while it has been rumored with the possible arrival of the 5g: now we know that fifth generation connectivity will arrive officially by the end of 2025. This is confirmed by Gabriele Tubertini, director of the Investee Activities of Coop Italia, within the interview published in the latest issue of Coop’s magazine, “consumers”.

5G is the evolution of 4G LTE technology, which already offers respectable performance today“, Tubertini said.”The 5G offers greater data exchange speed, a lower latency and greater connection capabilities“.”All qualities necessary to prepare for future digital evolution services“, He continued.”In line with the spread of 5G devices in Italy, CoopVoce will offer 5G technology by the end of 2025“.

The interview continues with another interesting part, concerning CoopVoce’s plans As for the fixed telephony:

CoopVoce’s goal is to grow as a reference operator for those looking for simplicity, transparency and convenience, keeping the values of trust and priority of the customer. We look to the future with innovative solutions, including the strengthening of services. It is not expected at the moment the launch of the fixed telephony and internet house of CoopVoce; However, We monitor with interest the evolution of the market in this sense, waiting for seize any opportunities to enter this sector too“.

The arrival of 5G in the CoopVoce house is therefore certain, while for the moment the operator does not seem intent on entering the fixed telephony market (albeit this is not excluded for the future, apparently).

CoopVoce customers will probably be under the TIM network and those under Vodafone network to take advantage of fifth generation connectivity, but for the moment we cannot make further forecasts. Will 5G be included without additional costs? Will it be proposed only with particular offers with a “minimum” price, or perhaps with a dedicated option? To find the answers we will have to wait more details.

Are you happy with the arrival of 5G on CoopVoce?
