Nova Launcher 7.0 has just landed. This new version of the famous Android launcher comes with its share of new features, such as a redesigned interface, new gesture controls and customization options. We take stock together!
While version 6.0 of the Nova Launcher was launched in March 2019, the seventh version of this famous Android launcher is finally arriving on the Play Store. Prior to this launch, the teams had carried out a first public beta at the beginning of summer 2021. After a few touch-ups, Nova Launcher 7.0 is finally available !
Unsurprisingly, Nova Launcher 7.0 stands out as one of the most important revisions of the launcher. And precisely, what are the main novelties of this new version? Here’s what the full developer patch says:
- Visual refresh : reworked the latest AOSP (Android Open Source Project) launcher code and updated Nova specific code to match the latest animations and visuals
- Weather icon in the search bar
- Added new gesture control (swipe down) assignable to any option, any application and any shortcut on Nova
- Improved Nova Search
- Redesign of icons and themes
- Ability to change widget angles from the menu Corner Radius Widget
- Option to display Android for Work apps in their own dedicated tab
Nova Launcher 7.0 will roll out smoothly
As the developers of TeslaCoil Software point out, the deployment of this new version of Nova Launcher will be done graduallyto ensure that “everything is going well for everyone” as stated by the official Twitter account.
