It seems that major changes are coming to the Instagram feed, and we are not talking about a leak that has been known… no. The way in which it has been known that this will be a reality is from the hand of Adam Mosseri, responsible for the social network and who has indicated that he seeks to highlight more the content that is displayed on the smartphone. Specifically, what is going to happen is that in a short time, what you will see when you open the application (we always refer to the main page when you enter it), will be displayed full screen and not as before. So it seems pretty clear that you want to enhance content above anything else. Besides, some elements such as comments and subtitles will change their location and will be in the upper area. In this way, it seems quite clear that what is sought is that, without ceasing to give importance to the images shared by Instagram users, Reels (or short videos) that are increasingly consumed and demanded are further enhanced. The truth is that competition in this type of content is getting stronger because TikTok has made it fashionable and other platforms have also decided to offer it -such as Facebook or YouTube-. Come on, there is a real war in this section. Important changes with this change Apart from the aesthetic itself, and that many users are sure to appreciate, others have to do with some options that are common on Instagram right now and that are going to lose some weight. Thus, a person in charge of Meta has confirmed that the upper ribbon that allows access to stories will remain, but once users start scrolling through the feed, it will change format to be able to find them, but they will “bother” much less. Long live the Reel, as we said. Something that does remain unchanged is the lower area, where the search or being able to access the profile will remain unchanged. And here the icon that gives access to the store will also remain… and this way of monetizing the use of the social network cannot be lost, of course. In short, everything suggests that the resemblance to TikTok of the new interface on which the company is working is not exactly a coincidence. TRUE? When will this change come to Instagram Bearing in mind that the change is important, since the new way of viewing the feed will be seen as soon as the application is opened (where it must be remembered that Mosseri himself has already indicated that more weight will be given to the Original Reels versus those that are exported from TikTok), it stands to reason that it will take a while to verify that everything works as it should. And, for this reason, this new option that is in the testing phase will not arrive imminently, but it is not ruled out that you may already be using it in the summer. Do you think this change is a good idea? >
