Autumn campus: early bird discount for the developer conference will be extended
Up to and including August 3rd, the around 40 presentations at the Nuremberg Developer Conference, which runs from September 6th to 8th, can be followed at a lower price.
Following the convention of previous years, the early bird discount phase of the Herbstcampus developer conference will be extended. Up to and including August 3, you now have the opportunity to register for a price that is a hundred euros cheaper than the price of 850 euros (all prices plus VAT) that will apply thereafter.
In its 14th edition, the developer conference taking place at the Technical University of Nuremberg from September 6th to 8th once again offers a professional, but above all family environment in which to get to know current trends and deliberately discover topics outside the mainstream. The autumn campus has become a must-attend event for many developers, especially in the greater Nuremberg area.
Multifaceted program
The conference is divided into two main conference days with around 40 sessions and a preceding training day with four full-day workshops. In contrast to many other developer conferences, the length of the lectures is deliberately chosen to be somewhat longer at 70 minutes. The participants should be able to immerse themselves in a subject as deeply or practically as possible.
The 2022 edition focuses on the areas of software architecture, quality assurance and API development. In this context, reference should be made to subtopics such as domain-driven design, software supply chain, property-based testing, GraphQL and OAuth2/OpenID Connect. But the obligatory lectures on programming languages such as Java/Jakarta EE, Kotlin and JavaScript also play a role.
The full-day workshops on September 6th will cover the following topics:
- Schools of test-driven development
- Tactical Domain-Driven Design with Java
- From Java to Kotlin – what’s new, what’s different?
- Go for beginners and those switching
The organizers of the fall campus are heise developer, iX and dpunkt.verlag in partnership with the IT service provider MATHEMA, which was solely responsible for the conference until 2015.
