Xiaomi has set itself a decidedly ambitious goal to combat climate change: reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 98% by 2040. This will mostly concern smartphones, IoT products, Lifestyle and internet services. Plan Zero carbon philosophy particularly focus on research and development, logistics And sustainable management of e-waste. New technologies and operational efficiency will therefore be the basis of this strategy with which the company will seek to improve the performance and accessibility of its products and services while simultaneously reducing their ecological footprint.

ACTIONS FOR THE FUTURE

  • -70% in display power consumption with the Dark Mode
  • 57 million kWh of energy consumption and 24,852 tons of CO2eq less with the proprietary system of fast charging
