Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones in late October or early November, with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra joining the lineup in the first half of 2025.
New information has emerged today from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, who claims that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. The phone will feature a 2K display with a tiny bezel and four identical curves on all sides.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to feature a large round block that contains four cameras. The main one will be a 50-megapixel sensor, which will be joined by a new periscope module with a noticeably larger sensor size.
As for the back panel material, the source says that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra engineering prototype is currently being tested with options such as plain leather, fiberglass, and ceramic. Leather provides a premium feel but may be prone to scratches. Fiberglass is a lighter and more durable option, but does not look or feel as expensive. Ceramic may be heavier and more susceptible to breakage upon impact.
Digital Chat Station previously reported the exact specifications of the Xiaomi 13 and Redmi 60.
