Possible information about Xiaomi 14 Pro returned to circulation this week. The rumor of the time points out that the Chinese brand’s top-of-the-line device should have much thinner frames than its predecessor, giving it an air of more modernity.
As pointed out by the TuttoAndroid site, the Xiaomi wants to provide its users with an even more immersive visual experience, with a highly optimized relationship between the screen and the body of the device. A rendering created shows a concept about the theme.
The report also pointed out that Xiaomi wants to reach a thickness of only 1.3 mm. Whereas the predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Prohas 1.61 mm bezels, this further reduction would represent a significant step forward for the top-of-the-range lineup.
But Xiaomi’s ambitions do not stop there. It seems that the Chinese company intends to reduce the bezels to just 0.9 mm on devices equipped with curved screens. So it’s possible we’ll see something related in future releases.
Reducing screen borders is a hotly debated topic among users. If, on the one hand, a cell phone with ultra-thin bezels offers an elegant and modern look, on the other hand, ergonomics and ease of use can be compromised.
In any case, it is still too early to nail anything, given that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra he was released last April. But it is worth remembering that the design director of the Chinese brand has already confirmed that the design of the 14 Pro it’s already finished and should surprise.

Xiaomi 14 Pro: design is finalized and should surprise, says executive
Just a few days after the presentation of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the public is already beginning to speculate the launch of the Xiaomi 14 family. Commenting on the subject, Wei Xu, design director of the Chinese manufacturer, said that the final design of Xiaomi 14 Pro is ready.
It was teased by several brand enthusiasts on the Weibo social network, and Xu guarantees that the Xiaomi 14 Pro should surprise the public with the company’s new design solutions.
The executive also made it very clear that the new device should follow something similar to the look of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
For those who don’t remember, this device’s highlight was the presence of a small color display next to the camera module. The 1.1-inch screen can be used to view notifications and even take selfies with the rear camera.
In addition to being able to come back with that small rear panel, the Xiaomi 14 Pro can also use even more premium materials on its rear. Currently, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra uses vegan leather, but the public wants the ceramic texture of the Mi 11 Ultra to return to the market.
As for the other details of the Xiaomi 14 Pro, we can say that it is still too early to speculate on any technical specifications, but it is kind of obvious that the device should rely on Qualcomm’s next top-of-the-line chipset.
