If we focus only on these ‘T’s, we must say that They are practically identical except for the processor, memories, fast charging and price. The rest are similar, even in the Leica cameras that debut for the first time in this series.

Same design, although with different packaging

As we said at the beginning, both the normal model and the ‘Pro’ share practically everything and the design is one of those things. Flat sides with curves towards the screen and towards the back to improve grip with generous dimensions exceeding 16 centimeters high and weighing around 200 grams (depending on the model and color).

If there are no aesthetic differences between the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro, there are between the color options they offer. On the one hand we find a version in blue with 100% vegan leather materialwhile the green and black versions come with a glass back.

Something noticeable in relation to the design is that in this series debuts for the first time the IP68 certification against dust and water. It is not new in the sector and nor in Xiaomi, but it is worth appreciating in a ‘T’ series.

At the front there is a 6.69-inch AMOLED panel that reaches 144 Hz, a refresh rate that debuts in this series and is accompanied by other details such as FullHD+ resolution or a brightness that reaches 2,600 nits in specific situations and for a certain time. For example, when the sun is beating down.

MediaTek brain and waste of RAM and ROM in the ‘Pro’ version

Unlike other years in which Qualcomm and MediaTek shared the work, this time they entrusted everything to a MediaTek brain. Of course, here we find different chips in the 13T and 13T Probeing a Dimensity 8200 Ultra for the first and a Dimensions 9200+ In a second.

Memory configurations also change. For RAM, LPDDR5X type in both cases, but with 8 GB in the standard model and with 12 and 16 GB options in the ‘Pro’. As far as storage is concerned, we can only choose 256 GB on the Xiaomi 13Twhile the Xiaomi 13T Pro reaches 1 TB and in both cases UFS 4.0. For none of them, there is the possibility of obtaining more internal memory through a MicroSD card, although there is virtual RAM memory (which basically consists of “stealing” space from the ROM).

We see little evolution in battery, although without any complaints about the paper when incorporating 5,000 mAh capacity on both terminals, more than fair and in line with the market standard. Of course, there is an appreciable difference in loading speed, taking into account 67 W of power in the standard model and up to 120 W in the ‘Pro’. All by cable, of course, since they are not compatible with wireless charging.

As far as cameras are concerned, we see a 20 megapixel sensor on the front of both mobiles. In the bulky rear camera module, a 50 megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilizationand which is accompanied by another 50 megapixel sensor acting as a telephoto and a 12 megapixel wide angle.

The collaboration with Leica It stands out in several sections of these cameras, such as the possibility of taking photographs in the two classic modes of Leica cameras. These are the “authentic mode” with colors that tend to be more sentimental and nostalgic, as well as the “vibrant mode” which, despite giving greater intensity to the colors of the scenes, ultimately offers a colorimetry closer to reality. .

The specifications pack ends with Android 13 that comes under the hood of MIUI 14 and with the idea of reaching Android 14 when MIUI 15 is presented. Not in vain, the great news about these terminals is that will receive 4+1 years of updatesthe first four being with full versions of Android and the last with security patches.
