Information on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, a high-end smartphone particularly focused on the photographic sector, whose official announcement is scheduled for tomorrow during an event to be held in China, is increasingly intensifying in the last few hours. In the coming months, however, the marketing of the European market would also be expected.

We have already got to know most of its decidedly high-end hardware features of this Xiaomi 13 Ultra. We know that it will have a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor supported by 16GB of RAM, that it will have a 4,900mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, and that it will have a 6.7″ 2K AMOLED display with refresh rate up to 120Hz.

2600 NIT PEAK C7 DISPLAY

An interesting detail has officially arrived with regard to this last mentioned feature. The panel that will be used by Xiaomi, in fact, will be a LTPO C7 ultra cleardeveloped by Xiaomi and China Star, capable of reaching a peak brightness of 2600nit, a new record for the category destined to significantly exceed the current limit reached by the AMOLED panel that Samsung used on its Galaxy S23 Ultra, and will have a CIE 2015 color curve calibration.

But not only. This C7 panel, in fact, according to what was also stated by the authoritative leaker Ice Universe, will also be among the best in the world in terms of “power consumption, viewing angle, light efficiency, eye protection”. Furthermore, this display, as also highlighted by the many renders published in recent weeks to which some “unofficial” ones have also been added, will also have a slight curvature on the side edges.

OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

The back, judging by the pictures, will be in antibacterial vegan leather and will have a design characterized by a sort of relief on the profile which will probably have the task of rmake the total thickness less noticeable of the smartphone which will also bear the important circular photographic sector in which four 50 megapixel sensors should find a place: a 1-inch Sony IMX989, one with ultra wide-angle optics, one telephoto and one periscope. The front camera, on the other hand, will probably be 32 megapixels

As for the hardware sector, in addition to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will also integrate two Surge P2 and G1 chips which, among their various activities, should make it possible to improve the overall energy efficiency allowing to obtain an autonomy of another 60 minutes of standby time and 12 minutes of talk time from the moment the battery has only 1% remaining.

For this device, Xiaomi would also have provided a “case / grip” which will make it similar in shape to a traditional camera, with the protuberance on the right side to better grip it.
