Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro, a rumor sets the key points: here are memories and colors

The informant Paras Guglani (known on social networks as PassionateGeekz), he did not use any turn of phrase in recounting the anticipations of his sources on the account of the next top of Xiaomi, 12T and 12T Pro. They will arrive soon, very soon indeed, already “in September”, powered by Qualcomm’s recent Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a chip that has remedied the perfectible energy management of the top-of-the-range chip of the American brand for the first part of 2022, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

To tell the truth, there were no and never have been signs that Xiaomi on 12T and 12T Pro could take different paths. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is the current reference for performance and efficiency (OnePlus 10T is one of the best examples in this sense), so the choice is in a certain sense obligatory. The chip though shouldn’t be a dowry to both Chinese smartphones: Guglani speculates (and he is not the first) that the “standard” 12T can gain the market with the Dimensity 8100 Ultra of MediaTek on shields, chips unpublished of the current world leader which according to the rumors previously arrived should be made at 5 nanometers, although at the moment it is not clear how it will differ from the classic Dimensity 8100 – a higher clock possible (the current “goes” at 2.85 GHz !) and some other changes.

According to the sources of the informant, Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro will be available in two configurations each. 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage for 12T, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for the Pro variant. If the two – it seems – differ in terms of memory, they shouldn’t do it for colors: there would be three chosen by the Chinese designers, Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver and Clear Blue.

DIFFERENT COMMON FEATURES FOR NOISE

Earlier rumors have painted Xiaomi 12T Pro as the company’s first smartphone to get one 200 megapixel camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro. Another difference between Pro and standard should relate to the charging speed, from 120 watts on the first (even if Xiaomi even seems ready to 200/210 W!) and from 67 W on the second.

For the rest, the elements that escaped the Xiaomi laboratories speak of two smartphones with AMOLED display 6.67 inches with a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels and an integrated fingerprint reader (on 12T it is said to be lateral), a 20 MP front camera, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 ROM memories, 5,000 mAh battery and MIUI 13 based on Android 12. For the rumors i Indian prices they would start from the equivalent of about 600 euros for the “basic” variant and about 800 euros for the 12T Pro.
