Although the nomenclatures vary, there are aspects that do not change in manufacturers with already enough tradition when they are, in addition, one of the most sought after in Spanish shop windows, at least according to some reference firms . The Xiaomi Mi line is now inferred from the brand’s own name and this has also reached the (Mi) T, and in the analysis of the Xiaomi 11T we have tested one of the high-end proposals that this line brings to those windows for a starting price below 500 euros (for 1 euro).
It is a mobile very similar to the Xiaomi 11T Pro beyond the name: same dimensions, same rear cameras and matched in connectivity and mAh. But in this case, it is committed to a Dimensity from MediaTek, also high-end and with 5G, with different approaches in fast charging and interiors. We tell you how about him.

Design: a familiar style
Little to add to what we discussed about the 11T Pro in terms of aesthetics and construction because the 11T is an absolute clone. They took reminiscences of the Xiaomi Mi 10T with something of the Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro Max , with that quite noticeable module (although without exceeding excessively). What do we have then? A bright rear, with a very subtle stripe pattern, and the same magnetism for the tracks .
With this, the 11T is a fairly sober mobile on an aesthetic level and with frequent cloth , unless we use it with a cover (one is delivered with it). Like its twin Pro, it is built in glass for the back, aluminum around the edges and Gorilla Glass Victus for the screen, which promises to be resistant and conveys a feeling of good construction.
The Xiaomi 11T is a large mobile, although within what we usually see in terms of volume for mobile phones with a 6.5-6.7-inch screen. In fact, it is quite comfortable and relatively light , remaining at 203 grams in that volume not at all reduced (and with a 5,000 mAh battery).
Thus, the grip is secure in terms of non-slip together with a thickness of just under 9 millimeters (except on the sides, which are somewhat thinner). It does not slip and the buttons, including the fingerprint reader on the side, seem well placed to us.

At the bottom is the USB Type-C port, without an audio minijack, next to the main speaker. The secondary of the integrated stereo system is on the front, very concealed and perceptible much more at the auditory level than visually.
The front is fairly standard, with the front camera poking through a hole in the center of the screen and symmetrical frames except for the chin, although it is quite discreet. It’s a flat screen and it’s not too thin bezels, but the front camera hole is pretty small. We will talk more about this screen below.
Screen: endless options after the “de rigueur” FullHD +
In this Xiaomi 11T we see a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and touch sampling of up to 480 Hz. Aspects that, together with the FullHD + resolution of 2,400×1,080 pixels, are the minimum expected in a high-end mobile not ambitious on screen.
Why? Because with almost 6.7 inches of screen it is at a density of 395 pixels per inch, which is not something that translates into a bad experience, but it is not competitive. But beyond market and current issues, the experience at the level of sharpness is good .
As we have indicated in the design and construction section, the Xiaomi 11T has stereo speakers , without a 3.5 mm minijack and with Dolby Atmos support. The speakers give us a balanced sound, with good dynamic range and plenty of volume.
We may miss a bit more power in the bass, but overall the experience is very good and competent. There are quite a few settings beyond Dolby Atmos, which we have to disable to test. Beyond the equalizer, perhaps we can get a more satisfying experience if we configure an audio profile, especially if we are not able to perceive all the frequencies.
In headphones the experience improves, especially if we pull the personalized audio profile. In general, what does not help in third-party headphones is to pull by the choice of profiles by headset model (focused on the brand’s models), yes.
Autonomy: these 5,000 mAh know us better
With a 5,000 mAh battery , the 11T should not stray too far from the autonomy that its Pro twin gives considering this value. But in addition to the processor there are some other differences, such as the load, that condition the experience.
In this case we have about 10 hours of screen and about 31 hours of autonomy on average , which is very good and that means that we charge the mobile every 1.5-2 days depending on the use and the refresh rate. In fact, the difference between the use between leaving it at 60 or 120 Hz is about five hours according to the PCMark battery test, which is not little, but taking into account that the average autonomy at 120 Hz is more than 30 hours ( and the lack of fluency at 60 Hz) makes up for leaving it at this refresh rate.
With this we see that the figures are different from that of the Pro, marking more favorable averages both on the screen and in average autonomy. Although with both, what we have guaranteed is 24 hours , even in a day of intense use at 120 Hz.
Speaking of the charger, here we do not have 120 watts of fast charging, but 67 watts, which is already within the maximums that we usually see in Android chargers today. With it the charge is completed between 41-45 minutes , which is quite little considering that we are not going to charge it until at least a day (long) later.
Xiaomi 11T, the opinion and note of Xataka
The Xiaomi T are becoming a very interesting second course as they are basically a version of the “not T” at more contained prices. The key: include some outstanding feature in what, by definition, is already a high-end technical sheet, but without going up to 800-1,000 euros.
This time the experience has been somewhat clouded by software that does not seem to be fully optimized and cameras that do not perform competitively speaking of the most ambitious mobiles in this sense, although the price reduction compared to others somewhere it has to appear. Perhaps this is why the question, when assessing whether it may be a candidate for us, is whether its relative virtues are compensated by an increasingly ambitious mid-range (and at home) or its shortcomings compared to the high-end range. more complete.
8.8
In favor
- Personalization by flag in the software
- Stereo sound and refresh rate up to 120 Hz
- Good autonomy even at 120 Hz
Against
- MIUI seems to be half finished in terms of fluency
- The photograph is below expectations
- A pity that it gets dirty so easily
