An artist and dance teacher from Goiânia was one of the victims of strange deliveries where an electronic device should have been. In this case, Ludmila Rocha bought a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE over the internet and received two chipped pieces of ceramics with the weight of the cell phone, along with the wires in new condition, points out the G1 portal.
she spent BRL 2,400 on the device on April 14th and received the package three days later. Since then, she has been trying to get the problem resolved with the store, Magazine Luiza. In a press release, the trader said that he carried out an internal investigation of the case after the consumer’s complaint, pointing out that the manufacturer’s packaging was not violated.
“I’m feeling aggrieved, robbed, completely frustrated, vulnerable and without any kind of support from the company”, said the client, who filed a police report this Thursday (4) after seeking help from Procon.
Now, Ludmila says that, after several attempts at contact, the company closed the investigation and does not intend to make compensation. According to messages sent to her, the product would have left the company’s own center, but she did not say whether the security cameras were evaluated in the investigation.
Ludmila says that a neighbor received her product since she was not at home when she received a contact from the delivery person, and that she arrived at her destination in about half an hour. She would still have signed a receipt that she received the package, but that didn’t mean she had confirmed that the product was right.
