whatsapp fixes annoying 'deleting messages' notification that was getting stuck in its latest beta

The WhatsApp beta program is progressing well and is currently, if the sources do not fail us, in its version 2.22.14.12. A version that is already released so that those who are enrolled in the testing program of the well-known application can receive it and that brings with it the correction of some errors.

In addition to some minor corrections, and laying the groundwork for future improvements to be incorporated, WhatsApp returns to correct a problem that in theory had been corrected in the past. One that occurred (not always) when deleting messages from one of his chats. This caused the notification to get stuck forever (or until you restart the phone). But, according to WABetaInfo, it seems that they have already solved it. Again.

Let’s go to bed now, the notification will want to go away

As WABetaInfo tells us, WhatsApp was already aware of this problem with the message in the notifications that got stuck. Occurred when deleting multiple messages at the same time, and the notification that the process was 100% complete never went away. At least not until we restarted the phone and, therefore, the notification cache to which the different authorized system apps have access was also reset.

In theory, this bug it had been fixed with Android beta version for Android 2.22.14.3, but nine versions later we find the fix again. This correction, as we have said, is released with the beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.22.14.12 and must be about to be received by all users enrolled in the program.

So, the logical thing is that this annoying bug that left the message that the chats had been deleted permanently anchored disappears. Let’s trust that this correction is the definitive one and the error does not reproduce again in later versions of the beta of WhatsApp. Although with the software and so many thousands of variables involved, you never know.
