WhatsApp beta on iOS gets a feature that expands the powers of group admins
After announcing that it will soon be possible to reverse the deletion of messages, WhatsApp beta released last weekend another novelty awaited by the public. We are talking about the feature that allows group admins delete any message for everyone.
The functionality has been leaked before thanks to the folks at WABetaInfo and now it’s finally available in beta for iOS.
The improvement is simple: the group administrator will be able to delete any member’s message, and this allows for greater moderation of the posted content.
See below:
When a message is deleted for all members, they will be able to see that the material has been deleted by a certain admin. Of course, this could be a reason for heated debates in certain groups.
Anyway, the novelty is being released slowly and gradually, and it may take a little longer to reach all users of the beta program on iOS.
In related matters, WhatsApp also released a more complete version for Windows last week. If you want to know more, be sure to see this text.
