WhatsApp has received a new beta update on the Windows version available on the Microsoft Store with build 2.2320.1.0.

Among the novelties, WhatsApp added an option for the user to choose the desired language and filter conversations with unsent messages.

In update 2.22.19.10 of WhatsApp beta for Android, WABetaInfo revealed that the application would bring a new option to change the language of WhatsApp in the settings section. With this, the user could use the application in another language, making it interesting for those who want to try the default language of WhatsApp.

After installing the 2.2320.1.0 beta update for Windows directly from the Microsoft Store, some users were given the option to switch languages to the native desktop version. Check the image below:

As can be seen, there is a new option called “Language” in the WhatsApp settings section that allows you to change the language. Prior to the upgrade, users would need to change their operating system’s language for the app to use another language.

Also, WhatsApp has brought a small addition to message drafts. In the new beta update, users will be able to filter out conversations where they started typing a message but didn’t continue. This will make it easier to resume conversations.

The new language choice option and draft filter are available for some of the users who have installed the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Windows from the Microsoft Store. If no serious errors are found, the application should start rolling out features for the stable version in the coming weeks.
