They can do it from the same group chat tab, as WhatsApp has pointed out in this tweet on its official Twitter account, where it has confirmed the launch of the novelty:

When there is the possibility to join a group call that is taking place in a group chat, the notification that will appear from now on will show the name of the group instead of the names of the participants of the call.

The people who are part of the group they will be able to join the call, easily from the chat tab. In addition, from now on the call will be displayed in the chat list, so that people can see which groups have calls in progress as soon as they open the WhatsApp application. This way they will know at a glance in which groups group calls are taking place at that moment and they will only have to go to that chat to be able to join the call if they wish to do so with the push of a button.

On the other hand, WhatsApp has announced another novelty, which is a softer ringtone in group calls, so that the experience is similar to sending and receiving a message.
