To activate this “retro mode” we have to open Waze and click on ‘My Waze’ to open your navigation menu. There we will find the new option ‘Go to the beat of the 80’s’ to activate this new nostalgic driving experience.

To activate it, we have to select an avatar, a car and the new voice prompts. Waze offers us three designs, one for each decade. Of course, for turn-by-turn directions you only have voices in English, French and Portuguese.

For the 70’sWaze offers us the avatar of the classic lava lampas the mythical car camper and the voice of an eccentric presenter and radio DJ. For the 80s, we find the classic “parrot” or cassette player as an avatar, as a car a racing car and directions for a aerobics instructor. For the 90’s we find an old PC, a all terrain and the voice prompts of a Pop star. Each style can be combined.
