Vivo announced its X90 late last year in China alongside the Pro and Pro+ variant. Since the beginning of last February, the Pro version has also begun to arrive on the international market, starting from Malaysia, to then make its debut, in the following weeks, also on the Italian market where it was put up for sale at 1200 euros only in the Legend Black color variant in vegan leather.

In the past few hours, vivo has expanded the X90 range with an “s” version of the base model equipped with a Dimension 9200+, processor recently announced by MediaTek. The design remains unchanged, characterized by the generous circular rear island where the three cameras are positioned: una main with 50 MP Sony IMX866 sensor with f/1.75 aperture, one from 12 MP with telephoto lens and a third, always from 12 MP, with ultra wide angle lens. Even the camera remains a 32 MP with f / 2.45 aperture.

vivo X90s integrates a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 2800×1260 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 105% NTSC color gamut, and HDR support. Thanks to the curved edges, the screen-to-body ratio reaches 93.53%. The panel also supports 1.07 billion colors and has a pixel density of 452 PPI.

The processor, as mentioned, is the new Dimensity 9200+ (the vivo X90 has Dimensity 9200), an octa-core with a 3.35 GHz core, three 3.0 GHz cores and four 2.0 GHz cores. This SoC is made by TSMC in a 4 nm process which achieves a better balance between performance and energy efficiency. The GPU is an Immortalis-G715 supported by a V2 image chip, developed in-house by vivo, which enables advanced image processing.

To support this SoC from MediaTek we have 12 GB of LPDDR5X type four-channel RAM256 GB of UFS 4.0 type storage space, a 4810 mAh battery with 120 W ultra-fast charging, support for 5G networks, WiFi 7 (another change from x90)Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB-C and assisted GPS receiver.
