One of the plans that Elon Musk has for Twitter is to turn the platform into much more than a social network where the text dominates everything (come on, it will leave its essentials to become a place where everything is possible). One more step has been known to make this happen, as long as it is one of those who pay to be part of Twitter Blue. The change focuses specifically on the videos that can be uploaded to the social network, which become much more complete and attractive to content creators. The change in question, which has been officially communicated on the Twitter Blue support page, has to do with the length of the videos that can be uploaded to be seen by everyone who has access to the platform from which it is now owned by Elon Musk. Twitter Blue now allows you to upload longer videos From now on, there are a maximum of sixty minutes of the file that can be made available to users of the social network. If you wonder about the size of the file to use, this is a maximum of 2GB, an amount that is far from what was allowed to date (512MB). As far as resolution is concerned, there is a limitation that is important: this must be a maximum of 1080p, so there is no access to 4K at the moment -but this seems to be just a matter of time) . It seems, without a doubt, that it is decidedly going for YouTube and Instagram. What has not been commented at the moment is whether Twitter intends to include a monetization system for videos that have the new duration, something that is vital for creators – and that, if not, they will not be able to compete really as the main choice of these compared to options like the ones mentioned above… with YouTube in the lead-. There is also something that the company will have to work on very intensely from now on: everything that has to do with piracy, because the new maximum that the social network allows fits perfectly with the duration of the episodes of many series. Another novelty that comes to the social network This has to do with the answers, since Twitter Blue users will also have priority in this section, so it will not be strange to see first those that have been written by those who pay the corresponding fee… for on top of others that are newer and even significant. Another step to try to ‘force’ users to sign up for the service… even if this means changing the way Twitter has always worked. These are new times under the umbrella of Elon Musk, and that’s how things are. >
