O twitter received an update to your operating systems application android It is iOS with improvements and a fix for an error in the app feed. The news was announced by the platform yesterday, Monday (6), on its official support profile.
The biggest news of the update is the solution to a bug that prevented the user from choosing the preference option for viewing the feed between “For you” and “Following” when not saving the chosen alternative, always returning to the alternative “For you” .

Before the update, iOS and Android users of Twitter always defaulted to the “For You” tab in the social network app, even when they closed the software in the “Following” tab previously, i.e. the choice was not saved by the app .
This bug was considered very annoying for those who didn’t want to see all the content suggested by Twitter and the change should improve the experience of using Twitter on iOS and Android. For those who want to avoid seeing what the algorithm indicates, it’s a hand in the wheel.
The fix comes shortly after Twitter kills some third-party clients. Very popular apps like Tweetbot for iOS have been removed. Twitterrific, another alternative app for macOS and iOS, also announced its closure.
