This is the renewed look that Microsoft prepares for Paint: curved corners, new icons and finally a dark theme

this is the renewed look that microsoft prepares for paint:

The arrival of Windows 11 has brought a series of novelties in design, both to the operating system and to some of the best-known tools in the system. Changes that have just begun and of which there is still much to see, something that has been made known Panos Panay using Paint and the new design that they are already testing as an example.

The popular Microsoft application to see how, coinciding with the arrival of Windows 11, a renewal of Paint will arrive focused on changing the graphic aspect to make make the appearance more consistent with the design of the new version of the operating system.

Better integration in Windows 11

Right now in Windows 11 we find a version of Paint halfway between what must arrive and the one that we have been using until now. It sports curved corners, but the interface changes are minimal.

Now Panos Panay has published a brief preview of the new appearance that Paint will wear through a video published in his twitter account. Next to the rounded corners, a design appears in which the color selector gives way from the palette with squares to the one formed by circles.

There are also more rounded corners, new icons and mostly a new dark theme that serves so that Paint is better integrated into the aesthetics of Windows 11 when we are using the background in dark tones. What is striking is that this renewed Paint still preserves the design of the tape for its functions.

For now this version of Paint is still in developmentBut Microsoft shouldn’t take too long to go public, perhaps over the next few weeks.
