Today is the day chosen by Google for the presentation of the new generation of Pixel devices, among which are the new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro that, as Google already anticipated weeks ago, will bring the new Tensor G2 chip.

Regarding Tensor G2, the company boasts that it is 60% faster, mostly in tasks that involve the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and 20% more energy efficient, thanks to its 4nm process manufacturing, which translates into a longer battery life, thus trying to close the criticism of the original tensor in terms of the autonomy of mobile devices.

Tensor G2 is also powered by Titan M2, which adds multiple layers of security, including so-called “protected computing” to make user data more private and secure.
