According to the latest data provided, in the first six months of 2022, the Colombian Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (CCIT), reported that more than 29,000 complaints about scams and computer crimes were made. A figure that increased after the pandemic.

In Colombia it has been shown that the population tends to fall in three modalities: phishing, vishing, smishing. Lately, the most common modality is posing as companies like Netflix, banks in the country, among others. Also about the fact that they won a prize of more than $200,000 pesos and they are guided to a malicious link where all the information is stolen.
