realme has officially presented its new flagship in China, realme GT Neo 5the world’s first mass-produced smartphone with a battery capable of being charged at 240Wthe highest charging power in the industry today.
With a capacity ten times faster than eight years ago, the realme GT Neo 5 uses 30 seconds of charging to offer two hours of continuous phone calls.
In addition, realme GT Neo 5 features three industry-first charging technologies: a 240W fast charging architecture, the world’s first 12A custom cable, and the world’s first dual 240W GaN mini charger.
This device is equipped with a 4600 mAh 10C ultra-thin electrode battery. It is the first smartphone with a charging power equal to or greater than 200W that has the TÜV Rheinland certification on the longevity of the battery, conserving more than 80% of its capacity after 1600 charging cycles. This certification also contemplates more than 60 layers of protection to guarantee a safe charging system.
Regarding the design, realme GT Neo 5 stands out for its daring RGB lighting interface on the back Through the transparent sheet, users can see a metal chipset plate with a custom logo design, a motherboard part, an NFC sensor, and a C-shaped RBG lighting ring.
It has a customizable lighting system since both the charging, notification and game lights can be customized with different lighting effects.
Apart from the lighting system, realme GT Neo 5 has a coating that combines two completely different finishes in a single case: matte and glossy. It also incorporates different elements of translucent glass and black coating on a glossy surface, AG matte finish and a mirror-like texture. All these elements achieve a unique visual aesthetic and an exceptional grip sensation.
realme GT Neo5 240W will be available in 16+256GB and 16GB+1TB versions and will be available in China from February 9, 2023.
