LG Electronics has announced the launch of the StanbyMe Go portable LED touch screen , available for pre-order for $1,000 and will ship later this month.
StanbyMe Go is a portable multimedia center that fits comfortably in a suitcase. This is a 27″ 1080p LED screen that attaches to a hinge, allowing you to lift, tilt, flip to vertical and fold the screen. LG’s built-in 20-watt speaker adapts to screen orientation for quality sound with Dolby Atmos. The device also supports Dolby Vision with extended dynamic range. Inside the case is a battery that provides approximately three hours of battery life. The screen is equipped with an HDMI port for connecting game consoles and can display content from Apple devices via AirPlay technology. The built-in app store gives you access to games and streaming services such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video and Max.
If you pre-order before August 27, you’ll get a $200 XBoom 360 Bluetooth Speaker as a gift.
