The next mid-range Pixel phone, the Pixel 7a arrive just before the summer, since the Pixel 6a was announced in May of last year
The last filtration of the Pixel 7a comes with live photos along with some specifications. The informant cites a 6.1″ OLED panel with 1080p resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. In addition, it has the chip Tensor G2 from high-end Google and UFS 3.1 storage.
The rear camera setup consists of a 64 MP Sony IMX787 main camera along with a 12 MP ultra wide angle. The former will likely be a significant improvement over the Pixel 6a’s 12.2 MP unit.
Perhaps most interesting is that the phone will support basic 5W wireless charging.
With a competent camera, powerful chip, and wireless charging, the Pixel 7a is shaping up to be a great all-rounder in the mid-range segment, provided the price is right, of course.
