The new Amazon to save buying and more
The latest from Amazon tries to help customers save when making their purchases online, an initiative that comes at a delicate economic time of uncertainty about what may happen in the coming months.
Amazon Access tries to be what they describe as a one stop shop where they offer customers access to programs, product offers, information about different flexible payment options, among other possible aspects.
According to Amazon:
Introducing Amazon Access, a one-stop shop for customers to explore programs, discounts, and features that make shopping on Amazon even easier and more affordable. Here, customers will find information about options like paying with SNAP EBT, Amazon Layaway, and more.
Customers will have the possibility of adapting the single window, being able to select both the language and the price conversion to a different currency.
The company has also proceeded to rename its discounted Prime subscription modality, launched in 2017 for clients with special circumstances according to government agencies, now being called Prime Access, where eligible clients will obtain all the benefits of the usual Prime subscriptions but under a discount greater than 50% of the cost.
This will allow them to get fast delivery, unlimited streaming of Prime Video content, access to a library of podcasts and music tracks with Amazon Music that will be enjoyed without ads, free games with Prime Gaming; 3,000+ books and magazines with Prime Reading, and even other exclusive benefits like unlimited full-resolution photo storage and 5GB of video storage with Amazon Photos.
Amazon brags about this program by noting that eligible customers have extended the subscription period by more than 300% from 2019 to the end of 2021, adding that:
By launching a new name, we’re excited to give customers more visibility into how they can access valuable benefits, exclusive perks and Prime savings.
All these news are beginning to reach customers in the United Statesbeing in line with what some experts point out regarding the never-before-seen avalanche of offers, and it is possible that Amazon can also join beyond the usual discount days of every year, now launching this window to facilitate discovery of the same, and more.
