Ross Young, a well-known screen analyst, it states what Google’s first foldable smartphone will launch in the fourth quarter of 2022.

This particular analyst is often spot on with his predictions, so this is most likely the case. We expected Google to announce its first foldable this year, either in the third or fourth quarter, and it looks like it will finally arrive in the last quarter.

What we don’t know at this point is whether or not it will launch alongside the Pixel 7 series.. Google will announce the Pixel 7 series in September or October, most likely. If they arrive in October, it’s possible that this foldable phone will launch alongside them.

Google I/O is just around the corner, and Google may share more information there. The company may give us a bit of information, or at least a sneak peek of some kind. Google I/O begins May 11.

It seems that This smartphone will have an external screen of 5.8 inchesquite a bit smaller than the 6.19-inch outer screen rumored for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, the inner screen will be a similar size.

This likely means Google’s foldable will have a wider screen than Samsung’s. Therefore, it may be closer to the OPPO Find N’s screen aspect ratio.
