realme has officially presented its new flagship in China, the realme GT Neo 5. This device will be the world’s first mass-produced smartphone with a 240W battery.

Francis Wong, CEO of realme Europe, has confirmed that 240W fast charging will soon be introduced to the global market, with the brand’s next launch: the realme GT 3.

The realme GT Neo 5 has some interesting features, including 240W fast charging, which is the fastest on the market, and an RGB lighting system on the back. The 4600mAh 10C battery has been certified by TÃœV Rheinland in terms of longevity and charging safety, and its design combines two different finishes in a single case, with translucent glass elements and matt and glossy coating. The realme GT Neo 5 will be available in China from February 9, 2023 in 16+256GB and 16GB+1TB versions.

The realme GT Neo 5 offers the following innovations:

– The first fast charge in series with a power of 240W, which means that it is ten times faster than the fast charge of eight years ago.

– The first 4600mAh 10C ultra-thin electrode battery with a charging power equal to or greater than 200W that is certified by TÜV Rheinland for battery longevity.

– Three industry-first charging technologies, including a 240W fast charging architecture, the world’s first 12A custom cable, and the world’s first dual 240W GaN mini charger.

– A rear-facing RGB-illuminated interface design, which is customizable to suit users’ preferences.

– A coating with two different finishes, matt and glossy.

One more step for the practically immediate charges of these devices.
