As every year, the developers of the Android operating system and the Google Play Store have chosen the ones that for them have been the best apps of 2021. In this annual list, the best applications appear separated by categories (in which games also appear, as usual), in a similar way to what Apple does when delivering the awards for the best apps in the App Store in 2021.

Android developers have selected the best apps of 2021 in each of the different categories.

Of all the categories, Google has selected Balance, an application to improve our lifestyle, controlling rest, stress and activity, as the best of 2021. In terms of games, the developers have awarded the crown of the year to “Pokémon Unite”, the latest iteration of the saga that has become a hit with players.
