Telegram, Beta video calls arrive on iOS: here's how they work

There seems to be good news for those who are used to using Telegram. In fact, some enthusiasts have managed to find a method for activating a long-awaited feature.

In particular, according to what reported by Gizchina, in the Beta version of the popular instant messaging application, the video calls have arrived. To be precise, it was iOS users who joined the TestFlight program to receive this feature (this is the official website, but at the time of writing, no further posts are available).

In any case, the video calls introduced by version 6.3 of the Beta application of Telegram for iOS can be activated through the option for experimental features, accessible by tapping 10 on the app settings icon (on the bottom right). In short, the developers have somewhat “hidden” this possibility, so that it can be tested only by the most experienced and truly interested users.

The reason is clear: the development of Telegram video calls is still in a preliminary phase, therefore inconveniences may occur. In any case, the interface that appears on the screen when making a video call is rather “clean”: there are three buttons at the bottom, one for changing the microphone, one for hanging up and one last for switching from the rear to the front photographic sensors and vice versa.
