Without a doubt, one of the most used features on Spotify is playlists. Through them, in addition to being able to listen to your tracks organized the way you prefer, you can also explore the taste of friends, acquaintances or even artists who curate their own on the platform.

However, not always the list created by someone brings only the tracks you like. Sometimes, it also has a song or another that you don’t like or that you can’t stand to listen to anymore. It is for these cases that the “hide” feature can be interesting.

Through it, it is possible to hide certain songs in a playlist created by someone else. So hidden tracks will not play when the playlist is playing for you.

At the time of this tutorial, it is only possible to hide songs in the Spotify app for Android and iOS. Check out how to use the feature below:

• With Spotify open on your device, access the desired playlist;
• Now, find the song you would like to hide and tap on the three dots icon located next to the name;
• Tap “hide music🇧🇷 The song will appear with a red symbol next to it, will have less opacity in the list, and will no longer play in the playlist.
  • To listen to the music in the playlist again, repeat the steps above and tap “Hidden🇧🇷
