One Google Chrome’s New Rival can be launched by amazon. At least, that’s what a survey the company is emailing to some users suggests. It was published by the reporter Nicholas DeLeon (@nicholasadeleon). With that, speculation about a new company application for the category becomes stronger.
The survey typically takes about five minutes and focuses on asking people to rate various aspects of a browser. In that sense, the questions talk about password management features as well as ad blocking as well as tracking.
Hmm, is Amazon thinking about making a web browser? I’m not sure how else this could be interpreted. @DanaMattioli pic.twitter.com/TNwgIa37qT

Other attributes that are questioned are VPN, extension support, compatibility with other platforms and security features. In other words, the goal is to understand what people are most looking for in a browser and what functions currently available can be improved.
Amazon even wants to know which browsers are being most used by its customers today. In addition, there is a question that asks users to imagine the features that would most attract attention to download if there was a new browser option available.
Among the alternatives, there are features such as better security, functions related to privacy and better tools for transferring information from one program to another. That is, these are points that lead anyone to think that Amazon is considering launching a browser to compete with the current ones on the market.
Still on Amazon, check out some Oscar-winning movies that can be seen on the company’s Prime Video service, and what’s coming to the streaming catalog this month.
