Crucial day for the assignment of Serie A TV rights for the three-year period 2021-24. After the first offers presented by broadcasters, in which Amazon did not take part as widely known, today the other operators are ready to present counter offers and raises.

Several indiscretions published by national newspapers, on pole there would be DAZN after the first proposal presented to the Lega Calcio. The broadcaster that debuted 3 years ago in Italy presented an offer close to 793 million euros, with the aim of bringing home the largest package currently in the hands of Sky.

Just Sky, however, could play an important role today, since its offer was overtaken by DAZN. It therefore seems very obvious that Comcast Pay TV will present its own offer, but Eurosport and Mediapro will certainly also be part of the game, which presented their offers in the first phase of the negotiations.

The road that leads to Amazon has not definitively disappeared: the colossus of Jeff Bezos could return if certain conditions were to occur. However, Sky’s moves will be central, which as known will not be able to obtain exclusive rights for the web.
