According to a new report, Samsung may introduce its first foldable tablet this year. The whistleblower shared the information via a tweet, which was retweeted by Ice Universe, a well-known whistleblower. In his tweet, Revegnus says that the device could launch alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 series this year. He also referred to it as “Z Tab”, so the product name could be Galaxy Z Tab. The Galaxy Tab S8 series was launched in February of last year. The same was not true of the Galaxy Tab S9 series this year. However, Samsung could launch those tablets alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 in August. What will this device look like? The Galaxy Z Tab could be the company’s first dual-fold device. It would fold down to the size of a smartphone, but would be much thicker than regular flip phones. When unfolded, you’ll be greeted by a large screen measuring over 10 inches diagonally. At the moment we can only guess what specifications this device will offer as no specific information has been shared.
