While the rollout of One UI 5.1 continues in Italy, Galaxy S23 Ultra, who had it since day one, goes to the next “level”. In fact, in these hours we have received a software update marked by the versions S918BXXU1AWBD / S918BOXM1AWBD / S918BXXU1AWBD, weighing 568 MB.
Judging by changelog there doesn’t seem to be much visible in terms of news:
- Improved device stability and performance
- bug fix
- implementation of the latest security updates.
In short, not an update that introduces this or that new function, rather a build that takes care of introducing the patches latest Android security systems, i.e. those of Februaryand to square the circle by sending the One UI 5.1 up to speed with the improvements to the stability and the removal of bugs. Furthermore, reports Samsung, there are a number of applications that can be updated to the latest version after installing the update, and they are:
- AR space
- Samsung Notes
- Clock
- Galaxy Wearables
- Samsung Kids
- Penup
- Samsung internet
- SamsungHealth
- SmartThings
- Galaxy Shop
- Samsung Members
- Samsung Wallet
- Samsung TV Plus
- Calculator
- Smart Switches
- Voice recorder.
We assume that the firmware is arriving not only on the Galaxy S23 Ultra but also on the Galaxy S23+ and “base” S23, even if at the time of writing we have no confirmations. We take this opportunity to point out that the Galaxy S23 review will arrive this week, after the battery live a few days ago.
