There are still three high-end smartphones missing from the novelties that Samsung will introduce during the year, and if two are practically certain, there are many doubts about the third device.
It all boils down to the rumors that, a few days ago, strongly questioned the possible arrival of an FE variant of the Galaxy S23 in the second half of the year. To say it was none other than the well-known leaker Roland Quandt, which in support of the hypothesis spoke both of a lack of evidence on the arrival of this new terminal, and of Samsung’s willingness to direct consumers towards the previous year’s flagships or the most recent mid-range ones, rather than risk cannibalizing the sales of the latest arrivals.
Now another opinion that is worth taking into consideration, that of the whistleblower Yogesh Brar, states that the company could decide to expand its range of leaflets with the first product to stand out for the presence of 3 folds and two hinges, i.e. capable of reaching the actual size of a tablet.
Samsung Display already unveiled its tri-fold OLED screen a couple of years ago (see it in the masthead) and an improved version of that panel could be what we’ll see in this new device rumored to launch later this year .
For now, the most quoted rumors say that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will rely on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors and will use a new hinge that will allow the display to fold with a larger radius than the current one, minimizing at the same time the sign of the crease.
