Twitter allows you to post videos up to one hour long since December 2022 and now this limit has been increased for Blue plan users. From now on, subscribers will be able to publish videos of up to two hours and files of up to 8 GB in size.
Another interesting novelty is that now it is not necessary to use a computer to upload videos, as this capability has been added to the iOS application. This means that iPad and iPhone users will now be able to upload their videos directly from their cell phone or tablet.
oh snap… Twitter know has playback speed; catching up to modern podcast players/youtube quickly

Additionally, Twitter has added playback speed controls for videos, although they are still limited to Full HD resolution, meaning YouTube is still the best choice for watching shows in both 1440p and 4K.
It is worth remembering that Twitter has already added other improvements such as publications with up to 10 thousand characters and encryption for DMs only for Blue users.
Anyway, this seems to be another demonstration that Elon Musk has not abandoned the desire to make Twitter an “all-in-one” portal, as he said when completing the purchase of the social network, even aiming to become a competitor for YouTube.
