Update (03/27/2023) – GS
Even before the launch of the Resident Evil 4 remake, leaker Dusk Golem, known for revealing accurate information about the backstage of the video game industry, revealed that Capcom plans a series of post-launch content for the remake, whether free or paid .
Among the insider’s revelations was an alleged paid DLC called Separate Ways, which, like the original, is an additional campaign focused on Ada Wong.
With the official release of Resident Evil 4, data miner Gosetsu identified that the game files contain a mention of “Another Order”. For those who don’t know, Another Order is the Japanese name for “Separate Ways”. While Separate Ways is not currently included in this new Resident Evil 4 remake, the fact that it was referenced in the title files indicates that such an add-on could arrive in the future.
Thanks to Gosetsu from the RE Wiki Discord, they managed to datamine Resident Evil 4 Remake and find evidence that “The Another Order”, otherwise known as “Separate Ways” exists in the files.

Among the other content already revealed by Capcom, we have The Mercenaries mode arriving for free in April this year, and a mode for PS VR2.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know if Separate Ways will actually be a paid DLC or not, but if we consider the pattern of previous releases in the franchise, it is very likely that the payment of an additional fee will be necessary.

Resident Evil 4 Remake may receive Separate Ways as paid DLC
The tipster Dusk Golem, known for bringing exclusive information about the Resident Evil franchise, claimed that the latest remake will receive a paid expansion called Separate Ways at the end of the year.
Separate Ways was an extra campaign for Resident Evil 4 that featured protagonist Ada Wong in her vision of the game’s events. At the time, the content was free, but history should not repeat itself with the remake, which will also receive Mercenaries mode and support for PlayStation VR2.
Despite Resident Evil 4 having a deluxe edition, no content refers to the release of expansions or season pass. If the information is true, Capcom should launch a new version of the game with all the DLCs, something similar to Shadows of Rose in Resident Evil Village last year.
Resident Evil 4 Remake releasing. 😎
But seriously, its pretty simple. RE:4 has something of a DLC pipeline to go through, with Mercenaries & PSVR2 stuff being free updates post-launch for RE:4, and Separate Ways as more extensive paid DLC to be delivered probably later this year https://t. co/lSDJkq4rYa— AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem (@AestheticGamer1) March 17, 2023
