The Redmi Note 10S and POCO F2 Pro, two of Xiaomi’s best-selling phones, received the update with MIUI 14. It arrives shortly after the global Redmi Note 10 Pro and POCO F3 are covered.
The latest version of the Chinese interface, MIUI 14, promises to bring many new features and improvements to cell phones.
The update for the Redmi Note 10S is based on Android 13, the latest version of Google’s operating system. It has firmware version V126.96.36.199.TKLMIXM and has been made available for the global device variant.
Among the highlights are a new look, more functionality on the home screen, longer battery life and faster application launch. According to Xiaomi, MIUI 14 uses less memory, is more responsive and brings greater fluidity to users. New features in personalization are also mentioned, bringing more options to the user.
The Chinese manufacturer also says that the search system in the settings is more advanced, bringing categories and history for greater convenience and speed. Another interesting detail is the inclusion of the February 2023 Android security patch.
The Redmi Note 10S was announced last year with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, FullHD+ resolution, 13-megapixel front camera, MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The update for the POCO F2 Pro is based on Android 12, the last version of Google’s operating system. The European variant of the cell phone has been updated with firmware version V188.8.131.52.SJKEUXM.
The POCO F2 Pro hit the market in the second quarter of 2020 and features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 865 platform, 64-megapixel main camera and 4,700 mAh battery with support for 33W charging.
