While promoting the Redmi 12C around the world, the Chinese manufacturer also seems to be getting ready to launch the Redmi 12 as its newest affordable smartphone for the masses.

The information was revealed this week after the device went through the FCC of the United States and was listed in the IMEI Database, with the number of the device being 23053RN02L.

In addition, the regulatory agency also makes it clear that we are talking about a smartphone that only has a 4G connection, and it must support 33W fast charging.

As much as the FCC has not released the complete technical sheet of the Redmi 12, other leaked details about the device still include the presence of a 5,000 mAh battery (model MDY-12-EA) and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The operating system will be Android 13 and it should run under the proprietary MIUI 14 interface. For now, we don’t know when the Redmi 12 will be presented to the world.

Even so, taking into account its category, this cockroach should also have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, a MediaTek processor, a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP front camera.

This should make it achieve its mission of delivering good value for money for those on a tight budget.
