After several rumors and leaks, Realme presented a new device that will integrate the GT family, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE. It is a downgrade of the GT Neo 5 5G, released in early February.
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE has as its main attraction the recently announced Qualcomm platform, the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2, and promises to bring powerful specifications at a competitive price.
On screen, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 10-bit color depth and support for 144 Hz refresh rate, in addition to a centralized hole-punch camera.
As mentioned earlier, the handset comes powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 platform with a maximum frequency of 2.91GHz and built in 2.91GHz lithography. There is also the presence of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
For power, there’s a 5,500mAh battery unit and support for 100W fast charging, with Realme claiming the handset goes from 1 to 100% charge in just 31 minutes in the socket.
In cameras, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE features a triple module with a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16-megapixel front sensor.
As for the operating system, it comes standard with Android 13 under the Realme UI 4.0 interface. Other features include an in-display fingerprint reader and facial recognition unlocking.
