The realme GT Neo 5, which has also arrived on the international market a few days ago as realme GT3, could soon also be joined by an SE versionsimilar from an aesthetic point of view, but with some differences from a hardware point of view.
According to rumors, instead of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the GT Neo 5 SE will integrate a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1, still not officially announced by Qualcomm, which is still made with a 4nm production process but will be a little less powerful. Another difference would concern the photographic sector. Instead of a Sony IMX 890 main sensor, in fact, there should be a 64MP OmniVision OV64M with optical stabilization and f/1.79 aperture, flanked by an 8MP IMX355 sensor with ultra wide angle lens and a 2MP sensor with macro lens.
Finally, as regards the battery, instead of the 4,600mAh with 240W recharge or the 5,000 with 150W recharge, the GT Neo 5 SE should integrate a 5500mAh with 100W SuperVOOC recharge. There should instead be no changes with regard to the display, always a 6.74 “AMOLED with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels, variable refresh rate and 1,450 nits of peak brightness.
To complete the specifications of this device, therefore, there would also be support for 5G SA / NSA networks, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5) assisted with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port, in-display fingerprint sensor, 16MP front camera and 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5X type RAM with 256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Finally, the operating system will be Android 13 with realme UI 4.0 interface.
