Realme GT Neo 5 is getting closer and closer and promises a decidedly different design than usual: the company’s official channels have shown teasers that clearly show a back cover decorated with LEDs. Nothing complex and intricate as seen on Nothing Phone (1), to take the most obvious example, but it is clear that the road taken is more or less similar. And we are reasonably sure that this will only be a first step.

The precise technical details remain to be understood of this solution. Previous rumors spoke of an RGB system, while here we see a single color, albeit clearly not white. We don’t know if it will be a parameter that can be controlled directly by the user, how much and under what circumstances.

Realme also confirmed another rather crazy specification: the maximum charging speed at a whopping 240W. The company says that will be enough 30 seconds (thirty seconds!) to recover up to two hours of phone call. Unfortunately, the complete details of the system are still missing – specifically the “0-100%” full recharge time. However, it seems quite clear that the strategy is to reveal small pieces of information as the launch date approaches, which is still a mystery but could coincide with the MWC2023 in Barcelona. In any case, it is worth refreshing our memory on the expected technical sheet:

  • display: AMOLED 6.74″ 2772×1240

  • cameras:
