Rappi announced a novelty for users of its SuperApp on iPhones in Europe. Now, the “Follow Your Shipment” functionality has arrived, to allow you to follow the live status of orders without having to enter the application or unlock your cell phone.
The feature works with live activities – a tool for live activities introduced in iOS 16 – and the Dynamic Island – the new “Dynamic Island” notch placed by Apple on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
This new function added to the app shows the estimated delivery time, in addition to messages such as “Order Confirmed”, “Preparing Order”, “Order on the Way” and “Your Rappi has arrived at the Address”.
According to Rappi, the window is available for the app on iOS 16.1 or newer. In addition, the novelty arrives not only in Europe, but also in the eight countries in Latin America where the company has operations.
